Transplanter Machine

Transplanter arrived at the Historical Park.

Two people rode in the low seats with the plants in containers in front of them. As the machine was towed down the field, the plow shears opened a small furrow that allowed them to place a plant in it. Water was pumped in around the plant by gears driven off the wheels and could be adjusted to use more or less. The furrow was the closed by two metal rolls. This machine could have been used for all types of transplants.
