The Historical Park Visitor Center is open on Saturdays from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Come out to the park and enjoy a picnic in our historical village.


Outdoor walks through the Historical Park, Village and upper trails are allowed and are a great way to get outdoors and enjoy the Park!



Please WEAR YOUR MASK and MAINTAIN SOCIAL DISTANCING when you encounter other visitors.


The San Juan Pacific Model Railroad Exhibit will remain closed until further notice.  They look forward to seeing visitors again at these facilities soon.

The San Benito County Historical and Recreational Park is located on Highway 25, 1 mile south of Tres Pinos. There is a gate fee to the park of $3.00 per vehicle, which is collected by San Benito County.  This fee is for the use of the recreational portion of the park and does not support the Historical Village.  Please consider a DONATION to the Historical Society to support their efforts in preserving the history of San Benito County.                                    

The Historical Village

The Jack O'Donnell Visitor Center and the Model Train Exhibit are open every Saturday from 11 am to 3 pm.  The public is welcome and tours of the Historical Village may be arranged by sending an email to the Park Director.

The Historic Village includes a diverse collection of historic homes, buildings, vehicles, farm implements, and more.

Admission to the Historical Village is free, but donations are very welcome.
