Research in Person
You MUST make an appointment by emailing the staff in the Research Center for an appointment on the second Monday of the month. Remember, all visits to the Research Center are by appointment only.
Staff will try to accomodate research on days when the Research Center is not open to the public, but this special time is not guaranteed and will require an additional $15 fee.

Photo Reproduction Guidelines
There is no fee for photos of newspaper articles (or other documents at the discretion of staff) taken by customers at the Museum with their own camera or phone; however, a donation is encouraged. No photos may be taken of our photos.
Research by Volunteers
If you cannot visit us, research is available by volunteers at $10 per hour for members and $15 per hour for non-members payable by check or online in advance. Our backlog on research requests may be two to three months.
Research Request Options
Research requests can be made via email or regular mail. Please select from one of the following two options when making a request:
- Research for Members (Per hour) $10
- Research for Non-Members (Per Hour) $15
Please be as specific as possible in describing what you would like us to research. Please include all pertinent information including names, dates, relationships, and sources already searched. When we have agreed upon the research we will perform for you, you may choose one of the payment options below.

Please be sure to specify that your letter is for the Research Center, to ensure that we receive it in a timely manner. In your letter, please indicate what you are paying for, and don't forget your check!
